Those of you who check out my site regularly will know that I have been talking on and off for the past few months about the fact that I would be participating in a live chat forum on Inkpop.
Well, I was told that I needed to log on at 11pm UK time last night in order to start replying to questions by would-be authors and readers of my books.
Just to be on the safe side, I logged in at 10pm - an hour early. I was quite surprised to see that I had emails from the Inkpop people complaining that I was late and asking where I was!
It turned out that the people at Inkpop in America had got the changes in time zones totally wrong - and they thought that 9pm in the UK was 11pm!!!!
Fortunately, a bunch of people had left questions, so I answered them over the following hour and a half - but anyone hoping to interact with me live would have been very disappointed! So, if any of you people went online at Inkpop, please accept my apologues for not being there.
Note to self: never trust anyone to get these things right! Always double-check!
I will make absolutely sure I have the time zones right for the Radio show I will be on in November - more details about that to come very soon.
I´m so sad about the fact that the “faerie path” no more translate in german
its not the same reading when i read in my second language als i read the book in my mother language
i dont understand why tranlate the other books
AFJ. Tina - the reason I have been given for no German translation of books 5 and 6 is that the publishers have said they did not sell enough copies of the first four books to make it worth while. If fans of Elfennacht spread the word so that more of the first books are sold - then the publishers may change their minds.
