I know a lot of you were disappointed when the fan-site crashed a while back, so for all of you who had made friends there - and hopefully a few more who have come aboard more recently - here’s some really great news!
Arya, who runs the seaofpages book review site, has been working away in secret and has put together a brand new Fan Forum where you will be able to chat among yourselves about all things Faerie Path and Warrior Princess.
Now I really hope you’ll all take a look at this - it looks really cool, I think! - and I hope lots of you will join the forum and have plenty of conversations about all the things that interest you in these two series. The topics are for you people to pick: from whether Tania should end up with Edric, to who you’d like to see in any potential movie, to which character you’d like to be, to how to drum up more sales to ensure there is a 7th Faerie Path book and a 5th Warrior Princess book, or whatever else interests you.
Basically, the FORUM belongs to all you people - I hope you like it!
I will drop in now and then to check out what you’re all talking about - and I hope some of you still want to write to me here. But let’s make this a scucess -and let’s all give Arya a great big thank you for her hard work.
And Arya’s not finished yet - she has other plans on the go - but I’ll let you in on them closer to the time.

It is really neat and nice. But its taking FOREVER to register. lol I think someting’s wrong with the CAPTCHA thing on the registration. That’s the only one giving me hard time. I’ll let Arya know and eventhough the website’s not finished yet, I really wanna join. It looks so good and I love the banner.

I’ve talked to some support people and a few have had this problem. It should be working now. Try closing your browser and re-opening it and it should go through. Let me know if you have any more trouble!

Daniela R. - Ok. What you do is go to your profile (once you’re logged in) and click “Modify Profile”. Under “Personal Information”, there’s a few blank boxes and directions or information next to them. I found an avatar on google images. If you use google, click on “Advanced Settings” and specify a size. The limit of avatar size is 100×100.

i always ask questions. so thats how i thought about that =D no story is ever completed. like cinderella.. do they have kids? where do they live? and so on and so on ……….
AFJ. Daniela - that’s exactly how writers think! Every story starts off by the writer saying -… “I wonder what would happen if…???”
and you know what ealse never happens in stories???? well no storie that i have ever read anyway-the bad guys never win. i mean i know good should always beat evil but wouldnt it be nice to mix it up a little bit????? usually some people will die but the good people always win and i would honestly like to read one book where the bad guys win i know that sounds really mean or evile or whatever but i like strange endings
but im not saying that i dont like it when the good guys win i just would like to see a book where they dont and i really like the idea of the babey thign but what do you mean by a cute compition mr.jones??
AFJ. Liz - I know what you mean about bad guys winning. Movies are often the same - especially American movies where they love for the bad guys to suffer and die…usually. European movies don’t always do that -and sometimes you don’t quite know who has won at the end because they leave it open-ended on purpose. I guess in The Faerie Path, if The Sorcerer King had won and Oberon and Titania and the pricesses were all sealed in amber forever or killed - what would I write about next? You might say: well, there could be a resistance movement against his tyrrany, and we could see them try to free the Royal Family - but if the bad guy really won, that couldn’t happen. But if I was telling the stories from Zara’s point of view, for instance, then the books would end when she died - and as far as any reader would know, the Sorcerer King might have won. I guess in the end it all depend on whose point of view you are telling stories from.
I’m not sure what I meant by a cute competition. I’ll have to think about it.
I always root for the good guys but I really like open-ended movies - especially psychology movies.

Liz, just read pretty much ANY of Shakespeare’s books. The “Main” character or characters ALWAYS die. At least in the ones I have read.
Do Faeries have the custom of naming children after lost loved ones? If so, it would be nice for Tania and Edric to have a daughter named Zara.
Daniela and Liz- I totally suggest you read the Gemma Doyle Trilogy. They’re the heaviest YA books I’ve ever read. Very emotional, with the whole battling your evil and your good side thing. I cried my eyes out at the end, but its the best gothic fantasy ever.
ill cheack that out Arya and Addie ive never really read any of his books i might look into reading one considering i loved Weathering Hieghts i think the old time english would make sience to me…. but i might be wrong…i can never tell hehe. and Daniela im into the bad guys too
even if they are well ya know BAD there is always some story behind them some twisted past and i find it entriging like i would love to know what the sorcerer king’s child hood was like did he have abusive parents…a bad childhood or was he just born evil?????
