People have been asking me for an update on the situation with The Faerie Path series. Here’s the low-down, as I know it in May 2009.
The original trilogy is now out in both Hardback and Paperback editions.
These are:
Book 1: The Faerie Path
Book 2: The Lost Queen
Book 3: The Sorcerer King/The Seventh Daughter
The reason for the two titles for book 3 is that it is called The Sorcerer King in hardback edition and The Seventh Daughter in paperback. Apart from that the two books are exactly the same. The change of title was generated by the Publishers, because they decided that “The Seventh Daughter” was a more reader-friendly title than The Sorcerer King.
Of the second Faerie Path trilogy, the latest is:
Book 4: The Immortal Realm
Is out in hardback (May 2009) – and will appear in paperback form, so I am told, in 12 months time.
Book 5: The enchanted Quest
This is written and ready for publication. It is due to be published in February 2010 in hardback, and, as with The Immortal Realm, will be released in paperback form 12 months later.
Book 6: ???? (No title as yet)
I have been gathering ideas and plotlines for this book over the past few months. I am due to have a meeting with the UK editors in June 2009, where the storylines will be discussed and a “final” plot worked out. (I write “final” like that because things tend to change during the actual writing process).
This sixth book will then go through the usual two-tier editing process (once in the UK – once by the Publishers Harper Collins in New York) with the aim to have it finished by the end of this year. It will then be published in February 2011 in hardback form, and in a paperback edition 12 months later.
I just have to say I am so excited of the news about book 5 of the faerie path! I just finished reading the 4rth book this morning and now I can’t wait to continue reading the series! I am also excited to hear of a 6th book that will be coming out later on in 2011.
Thanks for posting this great news on your website!
I look forward to hearing more as time goes on.
Great work on the series! It’s awesome!
From one of your devoted readers,

You know you can blog about the monotonous life of England, and day to day things too! I know what your thinking, that annoying girl from America stalking me on myspace has now found my website!?! lol your in for it now!!!
I’m excited for The Immortal Realm. I miss Tania!
…the monotonous life of England…hmmmm…let me think…
well, I got up and made a cup of tea, then fed Siouxsie the Cat some cream with her steroid pill in it (for her allergies and arthritis - she is almost 16 years old!) Opened up the computer and checked out Outlook Express - to find a bunch of emails from MySpace friends and the above mail from Tracy. Its raining right now, but its also fairly warm, so I am sitting at the computer with my shoes and socks off. (Wow! Way to go wild!) My wife Claudia has just come home from the night-shift - she is the office manager of a company that sells fruit and vegetables to hotels and restaurants in and around London - and right now she’s having to work from 7 in the evening till 7 in the morning, training some staff. In two weeks, my German in-laws are coming to stay, which will be great - I really get on well with them although I don’t speak a whole lot of German. Meanwhile, I have a meeting with the UK editors to discuss the plotlines for Faerie Path book 6 (that’s on June 4th - I’ll report back afterwards). This week, I’m going to be working on book five of the Sundered Lands series - I’ll blog about that later, too. This evening when Claudia goes to work, I plan on watching series 6 of Family Guy on DVD. There you go - the monotonous life of England! bye for now.
